Sachs engines
The Sachs and Fichtel company is well known in the dirtbike industry since they provided numerous bike manufacturers with their magnificent little engines. Sachs where particular successful in making: 50cc, 75cc, 100cc, 125cc and 175cc engines. Some bikes had for example only the 50cc Sachs engine and larger displacement engines of their own or other marquees. The Sachs engines most known is the 100/125cc and 175cc model with 5 or 6 speed gearboxes, large cooling fins on the cylinder and radial shaped huge fins on the head.
